Every time I see one of those marijuana causes terrorism PSA's it pisses me off. I get so down on what people believe is the truth that it makes me sick. So in an effort to deal with some my negative feelings on the subject and to learn more about oil painting I did this one. I went back to another artist with this. The original painting was done by Earl Bergey entitled "Doubling in Murder" and was featured in Feature Detective Cases, July 1947. I changed the woman's hand into a joint instead of a bloody knife because it seemd like a good way to illustrate how I felt about the PSA's.
