Walking to school: a tradition revived
In Capistrano Unified, students at eight neighborhood schools miss the bus permanently.
ALISO VIEJO – Some moms wore heels. Some dads donned ties and dress shoes.
They pushed strollers and pulled wagons. Children dragged rolling backpacks and clutched lunchboxes.
And they were all walking to school, just as they were expected to do.
