Laguna Beach is pretty much the shiznit as far as I am concerned. Mary and I walked on the beach every day. Took the kids down to look at the wee beasties that reside in the tide pools and for the most part just had a really good time. The drive back on the other hand was a little chaotic. We saw no less than eight cars piled up on the side of the road.
We went to beach church on Saturday morning and watched with unabashed interest as filthy rich people gave us the stink eye for carousing with homeless people. Apparently the local people (that live way up on the hills) have some major issues with the people that don’t pay anything to live and sleep on the beach. I guess the idea is that homeless people don’t deserve coffee and donuts unless they pay for them. Which makes sense to someone I suppose.
That brings me to the most annoying thing I’ve seen today. Lottery fun times.
I’m really hoping that this year will bring more discernment to me. I’ve been brought low by the last year. I’m really starting to feel as if I’ve been living in a vacuum and that something has suddenly let air in. I’ve begun to realize that what I have is a lot more than I’ve ever acknowledged. I’m really hoping that I can hold on to that in the coming year.

Oh and I've updated the Christmas Video. I rebuilt it to make it stronger, faster, and most of all smaller. Plus there are new scenes. I assume it's the directors cut.
